OHIO TRAVELS TO BOSTON FOR THREE BOUTS IN 30 HOURS

Fresh off a 1-1 weekend in Milwaukee, the Ohio Roller Girls will have to do a quick load of laundry and get back on the road as they travel to Boston, MA, this weekend for three bouts against three different teams over a thirty hour time span.  What would seem like a crazy schedule for most teams is, well, even out of the ordinary for a team like Ohio, who typically plays up to twenty bouts a season.  Including the trip to BrewHaHa last weekend,  OHRG will have logged five bouts and 2,450 miles over seven days when they finish their road trip on Sunday afternoon.  On the docket for the Columbus squad, a public bout against the (11) Boston Derby Dames’ Boston Massacre on Saturday and two private hangover bouts against (12) Montreal’s New Skids On The Block and (32) New Hampshire’s Skate Free or Die! All Stars on Sunday morning. Ohio’s first opponent this weekend is the Boston Derby Dames.  Currently ranked #11 in the world, Boston sits at 0-2 in sanctioned play this season.  Their two losses came at the hands of (12) Montreal (239-162) and Baltimore’s (17) Charm City Roller Girls (209-170).  A contender to go
