OPEN TRYOUTS!

OHRG will hold 2013 open tryouts on Monday, October 14, and Thursday October 17, at the United Skates of America rink on Refugee Road.
3362 Refugee Rd. Columbus, OH 43232.

Tryouts are open to women aged 19 and older.

Those trying out should be available both nights, but a cut will be made before the second night. You should be prepared to be evaluated in off-skates exercises as well as on-skates drills based on the WFTDA Minimum Skills Requirements (http://wftda.com/resources). Wear athletic clothing and bring athletic shoes.

If you have your own skates and gear (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard and helmet), please bring them. If you don’t, rental skates will be available, as will pads to borrow. Mouth guards will be available to purchase for $2 (cash only).

Please arrive no later than 8:15pm on Monday to register, fill out paperwork, and stretch. The tryout itself will run from 9-11 pm.

Interviews will also be conducted prior to announcing tryout results, but may be scheduled on a third night.

RSVPs are strongly encouraged to recruiting@ohiorollergirls.com

For the comfort of those trying out, only those participating will be admitted. No spectators.
