How did you get into derby?
Long story short, I watched the movie Whip it, went to a Wannabe Clinic, bought a pair of skates, and the rest is history.

What is the story behind your derby name?
One of my favorite shows is 30 Rock so my name is a play on Tina Fey’s character Liz Lemon. Liz and I share a common passion for cheese.

What is your favorite position to play on the track?
Pivot. I like the option of potentially jamming while blocking.

Any honors you have received while being with OHRD?
The honor of playing on an amazing team with amazing people. 😉

Do you have any special rituals/how do you prepare for a bout?
I make sure my bout buddy Jack Dinoghy (toy dinosaur) is affixed to my water bottle. I also pass out lemonheads during halftime because my dad makes me.

What are some goals you have for next season?
Maintain my position on charter while improving my jamming/blocking skills and building endurance.

Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy working on my night cheese, hanging with my cats and estate selling. If your 75 year old grandparent likes doing it, I probably do too.

Do you have any jobs do you have with OHRD, if so what are they?
I serve on the finance committee and assist in collecting dues.

What has been your favorite memory so far while playing with OHRD?
Too many for a favorite. I love traveling with my team and visiting new cities and hosting my family and friends during home bouts.

Is there any derby gear that you can’t live without?
Unfortunately, I’m not a gear nerd so the literal answer would be my helmet.

What is your favorite color?
Blue.

Lastly, what is some advice for those that are interested in skating or trying out?
Nike that sh*t and just do it.
