Number of years playing derby:
5.

How did you get into derby?
Kinda fell into it, honestly. A couple of friends and I went to a WannaBe Clinic for fun and I was the only one that kept going after that.

Do you have any other hobbies?
I love all sorts of crafts: yarn, paint, dead things… everything!

Who inspires you?
My close friends that I have made from being on the team inspire me. These people that I would have never met if it wasn’t for derby are now some of the most important people in my life.

What is your sports background?
I don’t have a sports background!

How/why did you pick your derby name?
I wanted something fun that played on my heritage.

Do you have any pre- or post-bout rituals?
Pre-bout I am always working on setting up the venue. Post-bout I just want to eat and go to bed. Nothing exciting here, LOL.

Do you have a favorite or signature derby move?
Move? No. Being a blocker I don’t feel I have too many moves; however, my favorite position as a blocker is being the brace in a strong wall.

How has derby impacted your life?
More than anyone will know or understand.

Any other fun facts about yourself?
I now have permanent hardware in my left leg from breaking it at the 2016 D1 playoffs in Madison, WI.
